The atmosphere of beauty and magic does not leave us indifferent at any age. Therefore, the content of my music lessons, should be intended to ensure that children will have their own relationship to music. After all, the art is - a mystery. The longer, the more I am convinced of this. I tell to the students from the first lesson: the music is vivid; a heart is beating in it. Music can speak; it has its own special language, which must be understood. Only treat it like a friend, be able to hear, feel, experience, and it will tell you a lot. For a child, this attitude to the world is natural. He easily enters into kinship with things, toys, animals and plants, reviving and spiritualizing them. With age, this natural property, unfortunately, hides in the depths of the soul or leaves us almost without a trace.
Under what conditions is it possible to awaken the Artist in a child? I know for myself: where good, trusting relationships arise with the group, everything turns out. Knowledge, skills are extremely important things, but only as an aid to the most important thing - to encourage the awakening of a Human Being.
The main thing that I want my students to understand is that music reflects our whole life and all the laws by which it moves. For the full sense of this voluminous vision, I talk about what music and physics, poetry, painting, literature, psychology, geometry and much more have in common. When they see this in understandable forms, as well as in similar patterns everywhere, the concept of dry theory disappears, knowledge enters into them naturally, deeply and forever.

Атмосфера прекрасного, волшебного в любом возрасте не оставляет нас равнодушным. Поэтому содержание моих музыкальных уроков, я считаю, должно быть, в конечном итоге, направлено на то, чтобы у детей появилось собственное отношение к Музыке. Ведь искусство – тайна. Чем дальше, тем больше я в этом убеждаюсь. Я говорю ребятам с первых же уроков: музыка – живая, в ней бьётся сердце. Музыка умеет говорить, у неё своя особая речь, которую надо понимать. Только относись к ней как к другу, умей услышать, почувствовать, пережить, и она многое расскажет тебе. Для ребёнка такое отношение к миру естественно. Он легко вступает в родственные отношения с вещами, игрушками, животными и растениями, оживляя и одухотворяя их. С возрастом это животворное свойство, увы, за невостребованностью, прячется в глубины души или почти бесследно нас покидает. При каких же условиях удаётся пробудить в ребёнке Художника? По себе знаю: там, где с группой возникают добрые, милые отношения, когда я их люблю и они меня любят – всё получается. Знания, умения, навыки – чрезвычайно важные вещи, но только как подспорье к самому главному – подтолкнуть к пробуждению Человека.
